Sore Cheeks
I have swellings inside my cheeks for almost a year now that looks like scabs. It doesn`t bleed but very uncomfortable especially when I use spicy foods.
The lesions you have described on your cheeks could come from a variety of diseases, allergies, and habits. It is impossible to diagnose your condition without a clinical exam. Make an appointment with your dentist or an oral pathologist. They should be able to diagnose the problem and provide you a solution to it.

Bad Mouth Smell
H i have a friend who has no teeth but has a rotten mouth order
There are three major reasons someone without teeth would have bad breath:
1. Inadequate oral hygiene. Yes, they still need to clean their mouths. Tongues are a huge source for foul mouth odors.
2. They have acid reflux. Food and stomach acids come at least part of the way up the esophagus and cause the problem.
3. They have a dry mouth. This goes back to hygiene. If they have a dry mouth, it would be like having “morning breath” all day every day.
Whichever of these is the cause, there is a simple fix. Brush their tongue/cheeks/gums and use mouthwash.
Effects of Obesity on Bone Metabolism
Published: 15 June 2011
Despite being a risk factor for many other chronic health disorders, obesity is traditionally viewed to be beneficial to bone health because of well-established positive effect of mechanical loading conferred by body weight on bone formation. However, whether the mass derived from an obesity condition or excessive fat accumulation is beneficial to bone remains controversial. The underline pathophysiological relationship between obesity and bone is complex and continues to be an active research area. Recent data from epidemiological and animal studies strongly support that fat accumulation is detrimental to bone mass. To our knowledge, obesity possibly affects bone metabolism through several mechanisms.
Less Invasive Colon Surgery Results in Fewer Blood Clots: Study
THURSDAY, June 23 (HealthDay News) — Minimally invasive colon surgery reduces the risk of blood clots in the deep veins compared with traditional surgery, University of California, Irvine, researchers report.
Deep vein blood clots, called venous thromboembolism (VTE), occur in about a quarter of patients who have colorectal surgery, the researchers said. The benefits of less invasive laparoscopic surgery also include faster recovery time and a smaller scar, but these advantages may not be enough to bring about a widespread switch from traditional surgery.
“From the cancer perspective, this does not appear to be a game changer,” said Dr.
