Great Expressions Dental Centers Acquires Wright Dental Care in Belleair Bluffs, FL
BLOOMFIELD HILLS, MI–(Marketwire – Jul 7, 2011) – Great Expressions Dental Centers (GEDC) announced it has acquired the Wright Dental Care practice of Dr. Scott Wright DMD, FACP and Dr. Elizabeth Hevia-Wright DMD, located in Belleair Bluffs, Florida.
Wright Dental Care was established in 2004 and provides complete family dentistry, including preventative and restorative care, sedation dentistry, dental implants, as well as 1-visit porcelain crowns and veneers. Dr. Scott Wright is a board certified prosthodontist who has been practicing for the past 12 years.
The addition of the Wrights’ practice to the Great Expressions network, now with 24 dental centers in the Tampa/Clearwater area, provides patients more convenient office choices in the Clearwater area (located off West Bay Drive) and more comfort options with sedation dentistry.

Initial Savings May Hide True Cost of Prostate Cancer Care
MONDAY, Aug. 23 (HealthDay News) — The initial treatment given to prostate cancer patients has a major impact on short- and long-term costs of care, a new study has found.
For example, while some may opt for an initial treatment that is less expensive in the short-term, the long-term costs of that treatment may actually be higher, the study authors explained.
Treatments options for early-stage prostate cancer include surgery, radiation therapy, hormonal treatment, watchful waiting, or combinations of those methods.
